Over the last 10 years I’ve been privileged to have visited Eurocucina, the world’s biggest kitchen exhibition, held every two years in Milan, Italy. The curiosity to discover new things and see how manufacturers reinvent themselves draws me there time and time again. Everyone showing their fruits of a hard year’s work. Industry leaders discussing and musing over the future of kitchen design. Sometimes all positive energy, sometimes not so much, the last few years have been challenging.
For me, Eurocucina is the world of kitchen design in freeze frame for a few days, held there to be examined, poked and prodded. A sea of ideas, perspectives, designs, products and innovations that leaves me energised. Oodles of new ideas and inspirations to draw from. Creative exercise for the kitchen designer.
